- We make some predications for 2008: A US Democrat will win in November, Northern Rock will be nationalised in January and in May either the Lib Dems or Tories are going to get egg on their face. We also consider whether Brown will still be in office in 2009.

- The Bali conference turns into a pantomime.

Hi Maggie,
There’s been a few problems with the site today (dropping out altogether or otherwise going plain slow), so I assume that this has affected the buffering on the player too (unless you mean the podcast was so awful you can’t get past seven minutes?). Give it a couple of days, it should be ok (if not, I’ll get on to Podbean, who host the site).
